Nissan may launch Terrano on September 9, 2013

It is rumored that Japanese auto giant Nissan will launch its recently unveiled SUV, Nissan Terrano in Indian auto market on October 9, 2013. As reported earlier Nissan had unveiled Terrano during the third week of August this year. Nissan Terrano will be launched in  both petrol and diesel variants which will include namely XE, 85PS XL, 110PS XL, 104PS XL petrol, XL Plus, XV and XV Premium. The petrol variant will be mounted with 1.6 litre 4 cylinder powertrain engine that has been integrated in Renault Duster. The diesel variant will be offered with 1.5 litre K9K engine that develops the power of 115 PS and 95 PS.
 
 The major features adorned in petrol variant include anti lock breaking system followed by electronic brake distribution and break assist system, high defined audio system and fog lamps at front side. On the other side diesel variant will also be customized with anti lock breaking system supported by electronic break distribution with break assist feature, steering wheel covered with leather covering, rear air conditioner, reverse parking system and many more.
 
Although Nissan Terrano is manufactured on same platform on which Renault Duster has been manufactured but to make it different from Duster, Nissan had introduced various changes which can be witnessed by having its look. The front side has been taken from its own SUV X-Trail however it has been upgraded with new bumper, honeycomb grille followed by impressive logo of Nissan. Nissan will offer Terrano in six fascinating colors.
