Just as the bell for the Detroit Auto Show and New Delhi Auto Expo is about to ring, car companies have also stepped up their efforts to fire anticipation about what is going to be displayed at their pavilions at these shows. Blowing the same trumpet, Nissan has reportedly released a teaser image of a concept of its rugged SUV Nissan Pathfinder 2013 to be displayed at the Detroit Auto show.

As per the advertisement image available, the SUV is midsized and has been based on the recently developed platform. Nissan’s other cars such as Infiniti, JX etc are also based on this platform. The SUV is shown as a fully aerodynamic car and will be able to house seven persons comfortably. Powered by the mighty engine and a four-wheel drive system, it is sure to ensure that no terrain is too strong and rugged than the Pathfinder. On the outside, the characteristic roofline that has become a distinguishing feature of the Pathfinder will be present to set it apart from other SUVs such as Toyota Fortuner besides others. The cargo rails will surely give a call to go off the road.
