Nissan To Unveil India Bound Kicks On October 18, 2018
Nissan Kicks, the proposed compact SUV from the Japanese carmaker has been in news for a long time and has been slated for launch in the Indian car market during the beginning of next year. Now, according to the recent reports the company is going to make its global unveil on October 2018. Prior to this the company had also released the tailor giving a hint of its soon launch in the International market.

Under the hood, Nissan Kicks will be offered with 1.5 litre petrol engine that is capable of boosting the power of 104 bhp and mated with five-speed manual gearbox system along with an option of CVT transmission system. Whereas the diesel variant will be empowered with 1.5 litre churning the power of 108 bhp with transmission duties performed by six-speed manual gear transmission system. It is believed to be offered with the price tag of Rs. 9.5 lakh to Rs. 15 lakh (ex-showroom price). In the Indian car market, it will compete against Renault Kaptur and Hyundai Creta.

According to the media reports the Indian version of Kicks would be developed on the same platform as used for manufacturing the Nissan Terrano and Renault Duster, that means Kicks will be blessed with a spacious interior, substantial space for luggage and wheelbase and length similar to the crossover. Other features offered inside the cabin will include eight-inch infotainment system, five-seat configuration and bunch of advanced features.
