Now Park Luxurious Cars Like Audi, Mercedes-Benz, BMW At Your Yard
Dream of driving luxurious cars like Audi, Mercedes-Benz or BMW is going to be true as an impact of Goods and Service Tax Implementation (GST) from the mid-night of July 1, 2017. According to recent report prices of luxurious cars like Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Audi, Jaguar etc will come down up-to 10% of their actual cost or something about Rs. 10 lakh for their popular models. It is reported that on Saturday Tata owned Jaguar Land Rover announced to offer discount on few of its models. However, the discounts offered by the Indian subsidiary of British car maker Tata Motors will be allowed on Jaguar models assembled locally.
Commenting on the situation Mr. Ronal Folger, MD, Mercedes-Benz, India said that “he looks forward to the simplified tax structure creating a single market across India and benefiting the buyer and the seller”. In the words of Mr. Folger, although there would be lots of difficult issues which would required to be sorted out and believes that finally it will result in offering long term profits to Indian economy. Moving ahead he also added that his group is encouraged with increasing number of queries about their cars with the dealers across the country and speculates that the same will continue for long time.
Speaking on the situation Mr. Rahil Ansari, Head, Audi India, said, the implementation of GST will open the news and exciting era for luxury cars in Indian car market. In his words the newly determined prices will hopefully have help in exploring the market across the country and will also strengthen the customer base. It would be interested to know that apart from offering discount between 4% and 9% over its portfolio the dealers of Audi are also offering substantial discounts and other benefits to the buyers across the country.
