Oops! It did again, Ford opens 45 new sales counters in a day
It did it in 2010 and it has done it again in 2012. It is none other than Ford India. Repeating history, Ford India has inaugurated 45 new sales and service outlets in India on a single day. Now Ford India covers 35 more cities bulging the total number of sales and service outlets to over 230 in 123 cities in India. Majorly, the maximum number of Ford sale and service spots have been opened in the Tier II and Tier III cities as it is from these cities that Ford gets maximum sales. With this, the ground is almost set for Ford Ecosport SUV and the Ford B Max MPV to arrive in India.

The inauguration of the sales service outlets by Ford is also exemplifies Ford’s belief that in order to have a strong visibility in any country, it should have a strong base in the form of robust sales and service centres. The present move will also help Ford to have greater penetration in the Tier II and Tier III cities. As per the official information by Ford, out of the 45 outlets, 20 are 3S’s which have sales, service and showroom together under one roof, while 12 are exclusive workshops and 11 are purely sales counters. The service centres will be providing quality and quick services and a routine check in less than 90 minutes.

The new Ford sales and service centres will not only help to promote public faith and brand visibility in these cities, it will have an overall impact on Ford sales and these will improve over a period of time. The present move is also believed to have positive impact on Ford Figo and Ford Fiesta sales and these new dealerships will prepare a robust ground for Ford Ecosport SUV which is also scheduled to be coming soon.
