Paris Motor Show 2016: Skoda to showcase its 7 seater SUV

It seems that there is no day of holiday in the calendar to auto makers and therefore they keep on developing their future planning quite before the arrival of an appropriate time. With almost three weeks remaining for 2016 to land but car makers have started developing the plans about the timings of showcasing and launching their new products. According to industry report Czech car maker Skoda Motors is speculating to showcase its proposed seven seater SUV during the Paris Motor Show 2016. Codenamed as Snowman the SUV will be developed on MQB platform and will be offered with front wheel drive option at the time of its unveil followed by option of all wheel drive system at the time of its actual launch.

As far as other details pertaining to power train and other features are concerned nothing has been so far disclosed by car maker. However industry experts the car maker might use engine configuration of 2.0 litre TDI and 1.8 litre TSI in both diesel and petrol trims of this SUV, and coat it with six speed manual gear transmission system along with 7 speed DSG transmission system.
 
The Snowman (codename) SUV will be developed on same Vision C concept showcased by Skoda during 2014. As the SUV will be placed above Yeti Crossover it is expected to carry more aggressive and dynamic looks comprising of angular body with sharp curves. After unveiling the SUV in Paris Motor Show 2016 Skoda will launch it immediately in the European car market. In India the SUV is expected to make its debut sometimes during 2017 where it will compete against Tiguan from Volkswagen.
