For all those, who are waiting for a low-priced electric car, this news can bring a smile to their faces. According to recent reports, PMV Electric, a Mumbai-based startup is going to launch its first electric car EAS-E, in the Indian car market on November 16, 2022. The main objective of launching this cheap electric car is to develop a new segment dedicated to Electric Personal Mobility Vehicle (PMV). It is speculated to be priced between Rs 4 lakh and Rs 5 lakh. The launch of this car will offer the best mobility option for buyers looking to buy a cheap electric car under their budget.

 

 

In the words of Kalpit Patel, Founder of PMV Electric, “This will be a significant milestone for the company as we have created a world-class product manufactured by an Indian company. We are looking to electrify the country and develop Personal Mobility Vehicles. We look forward to introducing a new segment called (PMV), which is aimed at everyday use”.

 

Speaking about the architecture of the upcoming electric car, it has a length of 2,915mm, a width of 1,157mm, and a height of 1,600mm. With a ground clearance of 170mm, it will have a wheelbase of 2,087 mm. It will weigh around 550 kg. Because of its small size, it will be easier to drive and park in cities, where both these things are hard to perform.

 

As far as its features are concerned, it will receive a digital infotainment system, air conditioner, a USB charging port, remote parking assistant, seatbelt, cruise control, and remote keyless entry.
