The newly introduced version of petrol configuration in Macan series has been enriched with 2.0 litre petrol engine. Appearance wise the new petrol version of Macan continues the legacy of its two elder versions and continues the company’s SUV designing philosophy which makes it look different from existing SUVs in market. Talking about the newly introduced 2.0 litre turbocharged petrol engine it generates power of 255 PS and torque of 370Nm. The engine is mated with seven speed dual clutch transmission system and offered with all wheel drive system. With top notch of 229 kmph it touches the sprint from zero to 100 kmph in the span of 6.7 seconds.

As far as other two existing version of Macan are concerned one version is empowered with 3.0 litre diesel variant which is banned in Delhi and NCR region, whereas another version of Turbo 400 PS petrol SUV which do not seems to be suitable for regular drive. Moreover because of their price tag touching the mark of Rs. 1 Crore such vehicles are not preferred by regular drivers. And therefore going through the desires of buyers towards Mercedes Benz GLE, Land Rover Discovery Sport and BMW X5 it is speculated the Macan 2.0 litre will definitely succeed in developing a strong niche for itself.
