Porsche Macan R4 Introduced With Price Tag of Rs. 76.84 lakh
German car maker Porshce today added one more jewel in its Indian portfolio in form of SUV named as Macan R4 with starting price of Rs. 76.84 lakh (ex-showroom price, New Delhi). The new Macan R4 is considered as the least priced vehicle by car maker in India. With this R4 is the fourth vehicle to represent the Macan family after S Diesel, Turbo and Turbo with Performance Package and which is priced below Rs. 1 Crore. The bookings of same have been already commenced by dealers throughout the country at down payment of Rs. 10 lakh.
With efficiency of touching the mark of 100 kmph in span of 6.7 seconds the Macan R4 is empowered with 2.0 litre four cylinder petrol engine that is capable of generating the power of 252 PS and torque of 370Nm. The transmission duty is performed by seven speed dual clutch automatic transmission system and can hit the top notch of 229 km/h. To facilitate driver in retaining control over R4 the SUV embellishes Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) air suspension system. In India it will be imported from Germany and will compete with Jaguar F-Pace and Mercedes-Benz GLE 400 4Matic. Industry experts however believe that the SUV will in direct competition with Benz GLE 400 Matic which is empowered with 3.0 litre, V6 petrol engine, whereas Jaguar F-Pace is available only in diesel variant with two engine options of 2.0 litre and 3.0 litre V6 diesel engine.
Talking about the features offered in Porsche Macan R4 it would be interested that despite of being less expensive by company still the SUV proudly hosts bunch of remarkable contemporary features in form of seven inch Porsche Communication Mangement touchscreen infotainment system, voice recognition system, three zone automatic climate control system, electronic tailgate, multi-functional steering wheel, eight-way electronic driver seat, traction control system, and eighteen inch alloy wheels. With all these features, company also offers the facility of customizing SUV with heated seats, bi-xenon or LED headlamps and panoramic sunroof.
