Prices Of Tata Nexon Variants Hiked Upto Rs 18,000
The domestic carmaker Tata Motors has hiked the prices of its bestselling compact SUV Nexon up to Rs 18,000. With this price hike, the company has also discontinued the six variants including XZ, XZA, XZ+ (O), XZA+ (O), XZ+ (O) Dark and XZA+ (O) Dark. The company will continue selling Jet, Kaziranga, and Dark variants. With this, the company has also added six new variants to its line-up - XZ+ (HS), XZ+ (L), XZ+ (P), XZA+ (HS), XZA (L) and XZA+ (P).

Speaking about the new features added to these newly added variants, the company has not upgraded them with additional features. All these variants differ from each other in terms of components. The Nexon XZA+(HS) doesn’t have the features like trip analytics, iRA connectivity platform, live vehicle diagnostic, remote vehicle control through smartphone, valet mode, and geo fence. All these features are offered in XZA (L) and XZA +(P) variants. Similarly, the features like an electric sunroof with a tilt function are not offered in XZA+(L) variant. This feature is offered in XZA+(HS) and XZA+(P) variants. The XZA+(HS) variant misses the features like wireless charging and leatherette seats for the driver and front seat co-passenger. Both these features are offered in XZA+(L) and XZA+(P) variants.
As far as the integration of safety features is concerned, the HS, L, and P trims of XZ+ and XZA+ get the same types of safety features. The top-end variants are offered with safety features like electronic traction control, hill hold control, electronic stability program, reverse park assist system with ultrasonic sensors and camera, electronic brake pre-fill, brake disc wiping, follow me home lamps, night IRVM, and tyre pressure monitoring system. It would be interesting to know that Tata Nexon received a 5-star safety ranking in the global NCAP test.
