Toyota Kirloskar Motors has hiked the prices of Fortuner, Fortuner Legender, Innova Crysta, and Camry in the Indian car market. The prices of cars like Yaris, Urban Cruiser, and Glanza remain unchanged. The Indian alliance of Japanese carmaker had launched the facelift version of the Fortuner MPV at the beginning of this year with a price tag of Rs. 29.98 lakh (ex-showroom). Now the company has hiked the prices of regular Fortuner up to Rs 36,000, and the Fortuner Legender up to Rs 72,000.

Speaking about the bestselling MPV Innova, its price has been increased up to Rs 26,000. With this increase, the petrol variant of Innova Crysta is priced at Rs 16.52 lakh and the diesel variant is priced at Rs 16.90 lakh. Moving ahead to the premium sedan Camry Hybrid, it receives the price hike of Rs 1.18 lakh and now it is offered with the price tag of Rs 40.59 lakh. The price of MPV Vellfire remains unchanged.
As reported earlier all the major carmakers are hiking the prices of their entire range because of the increasing cost of raw materials including steel, plastics, and aluminium. However, with the increasing number of COVID-19 cases, there are chances that the carmakers will find it difficult to manufacturer the vehicles according to the demand.
