PSA Groupe Enters In Indian Car Market With Citroen C5 Aircross
The French car making group PSA has made its debut in the Indian car market with Citroen C5 Aircross SUV. The SUV has been offered in two variants namely Feel with a price tag of Rs 29.90 lakh and top-end variant Shine priced Rs 31.90 lakh. Both the prices are ex-showroom prices in New Delhi. The SUV would be sold through La Masion showrooms located in ten cities throughout the country. In the Indian car market, the C5 Aircross will go against the likes of Hyundai Tucson and Jeep Compass.

Mechanically under the hood, the Citroen C5 Aircross comes equipped with a 2.0-litre diesel engine mated with an eight-speed automatic gearbox. This engine generates a power of 177 bhp and a torque of 400Nm. According to the sources of the company, the SUV delivers an average of 18.6 kmpl and comes equipped with a bunch of driving and traction modes. It is offered with an option of seven colours including three mono-tone and four dual-tone including Tijuca Blue in mono and dual-tone, Pearl White in mono and dual-tone, Cumulus Grey in mono and dual-tone, and Perla Near Black.
As far as the features offered in C5 Aircross are concerned it comes equipped with standard features including an eight-inch touchscreen infotainment system that supports connectivity with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, power-folding and heated wing mirrors, auto-dimming, powered driver’s seat, dual-zone climate control, keyless entry system, hands-free parking, auto headlamps and wipers, front and rear fog lamps, halogen headlamps with LED DRLS, dual-zone climate control and a few more. The top-end variant Shine is offered with three additional features like hands-free tailgate opening, LED headlamps, and a panoramic sunroof.
