Renault could assemble Duster in SA as well
Renault India had hectic till now with the launch of all new products in the country including Renault Pulse, Renault Fluence, Renault Scala, Renault Koleos and the most popular SUV Renault Duster. Now, the time has come to reap the fruits with little more effort. Cars such as Pulse, Duster, and Scala are drawing good numbers on the sales registers and now it seems to be time for the French car maker to show its might in the adjoining foreign markets. As per information, the car maker is soon to export the India made Duster to South Africa.
Notably, launch plan in South Africa are intact and the SUV is soon to be launched in the new destination. It is believed that as soon as it is launched it will gather instant popularity and will perform well just the way it has in India. Meanwhile, some reports also confirm that Renault could think of manufacturing Duster in Gauteng also. This way the car maker will be able to ensure steady supply as well as lower the price in the South African market.
Unlike India, the Duster will be sold in SA under the badge of Dacia but it is sure that the way this SUV has beaten all its rivals and has foiled all attempts by rivals to tamper with its sales. Even the affordably priced Mahindra Quanto SUV could not even damage the sales of this car. However, experts believe that Duster will have its most prominent rival in the form of Ford Ecosport and Maruti XA Alpha that are also scheduled this year. Internationally, the car has created some of the best responses and has set itself a winner in its homeland Brazil and has almost made India its homeland as well by posing extremely well sales. It is believed that it will also replicate its success saga in SA as well.
