Renault Duster: Achieves a milestone
Renault Duster the compact SUV developed under joint venture of French car maker Renault and its Roman subsidiary Dacia has achieved a milestone in history of its four years existence. According to reports received by company sources it going sale out one millionth unit of Duster to one of its buyers in Brazilian car market. At present it is being sold out in five countries across the world namely India, Columbia, Brazil, Romania and Russia.
Commenting on this achievement Mr. Arnaud Deboeuf, Entry Program Director, Renault, said that success enjoyed by Renault is global success. Moving ahead Mr. Deboeuf said that with Renault Brand, Duster is designed to meet the driving requirements of customers in global market, and with Renault’s support it is strengthening its roots in new markets across the world. In words of Mr. Deboeuf Duster is undoubtedly helping company in connecting with new buyers.
At present Duster is being manufactured in five countries mentioned above and its production plants located in these countries are satisfying the needs of Duster buyers in more than 100 countries. The production plant in India at Chennai, apart from satisfying the needs of Indian buyers is also being sold out in South African and Indonesian car market. Whereas in EU. Ireland, Malta and Cyprus the same Duster manufactured in India is being sold as Dacia Duster. In Indian car market Duster has set new standards in segment of compact sedans.
