Renault Duster launch in UK on June 28

UK will be fortunate enough to get the Renault Duster ahead of India. In India, the Duster will be launched on July 4. As per the information, the Duster launch in UK will be on the occasion of the Goodwood festival of speed that runs from June 28 to July 1. The information also suggests that Duster will be available for pre order from July 28 through the Dacia UK website with a £100 deposit. Though the delivery of the Duster SUV will begin early next year. Back in India, the Duster is highly anticipated and is expected to bring a reform to the SUV segment following its low price.

In India, Renault SUV will be produced at the Chennai plant and the French car maker will also be exporting the SUV to other countries as well. Also, the Duster’s launch on July 4 will be sooner than the Ford Ecosport which will be arriving in India around Diwali or early next year. The Duster in India is expected to set right the segment below the Tata Safari and the Mahindra Scorpio and is expected to sell well following its affordable price and stunning features. To be available in petrol and diesel options, the new Renault SUV will be the fourth offering from Renault after the Renault Korando that miserably failed to get some decent numbers on the sales front.

The Duster SUV that will be launched in UK will be from Dacia brand owned by Renault and as per the pre launch teasers, the Renault will be highly affordable than even a sedan. “Shockingly Affordable” is what Renault promises about the Duster. Meanwhile, auto industry experts suggest that Duster will have an edge in sales primarily being the first in the segment before the EcoSport or the Maruti XA Alpha arrives and secondly due to its features.
