Renault Duster launch Schedule, features and specifications

The French car maker will be launching the Renault Duster SUV across India in the coming four days. Starting on July 4, when it will be launched in the national capital New Delhi and business capital of India Mumbai besides Hyderabad, the Duster will be launched subsequently in Chennai and Bangalore on July 5 and in Chandigarh and Kolkata on July 6 and July 7 respectively. With this, Renault will ensure that the craze for SUV increases manifold nation wise even when the car sales in India is at a low. Meanwhile, the details, specifications, models and features of Duster SUV are available and a quick glance at it poses it as having the genes to become the best SUV in India.

As earlier reported, the Duster will be launched in petrol and diesel options and will have three petrol models viz. RxE, RxL and RxZ while there will be three trims each for the two diesel engine options. Thus there will be many Renault Duster models options available in India and the car maker has selected features and specification for the models with dexterity making these more than attractive to SUV buyers in India.

The top model Renault Duster RxZ powered by 110 PS 1.5 L dCi diesel engine will have an array of features including dual front airbags, impact sensing door unlock, ABS, EBD, Brake Assist, Alloy Wheels, leather strapped steering wheel besides a chrome finish on the exhaust. The Duster petrol powered by 1.6 L 102 PS engine will be returning a mileage of 13.24 kmpl while the 85 PS diesel Duster will have a mileage of 20.46 kmpl that is almost unknown in the segment. The more powerful Duster diesel model which has 110 PS of power will have a mileage of 19.01 kmpl.

The Renault Duster features and specifications suggest that it should have a start price of around Rs 7.3 lakh while the highest trim could be priced around Rs 9 lakh. Thus, if Renault Duster price happens below this, its booking counters will be flooded with applications as the price will be the sole driving factor for Duster.
