Renault Duster launch this June, 5 variants with stunning features
Renault certainly has a back-to-back strategy in place for India. After a debut with Renault Fluence sedan, the French car maker has decided not to look back. Similarly, as part of its five car launches until this year end, Renault will be launching another car which is the Renault Duster SUV this June. Recently, the Renault Dusters features have come up. To be expectedly priced around Rs 8 lakh to Rs 10 lakh, the Duster SUV by Renault was unveiled at the Auto Expo in January this year.
As per the reports, Renault Duster will be offered in five variants besides a lot of gizmos inside the SUV for India. The Duster launch in June will be well ahead of the Ford Ecosport launch slated this Diwali by the American car maker. In addition to it, opposed to the popular belief, neither Ecosport nor the Duster will be under-sour meter cars and thus will not be eligible for any tax benefits. Further by the time, Duster will be launched hopefully a new tax regime on diesel cars in India will be in place and so it is expected that Duster price may be more than the expected price.

Furthermore, Duster will have a 108PS, 1.5 L diesel engine besides a 1.6L petrol engine with a power of 106PS. On the appearance part, no doubt it has mesmerized the onlookers at the Auto Expo and the stunning SUV has the proportions of being an instant hit. At the front, there will be more chrome work on the grill with twin barrel type head lights and two fog lamps on the big sized bumper. The Duster will run on 16 incher alloys and will have latest braking technologies in place such as Anti-lock Braking system, Electronic Brake distribution and brake assist. Safety will be on the top agenda for Duster and it will have dual airbags apart from a strong frame and collapsible steering. Keyless entry, rear wiper and parking sensors will be an additional plus in Duster. As part of the in car entertainment devices, Duster will have four speaker audio system with Bluetooth and iPod connectivity. Steering mounted controls will be there on higher variants.

Dear Subba, Definitely Renault Duster is expected to provide a decent threat to Mahindra & Mahindra, but the utility major Mahindra has always been one of the favorite brands for Indian SUV lovers as sales numbers speaks volumes for it and with the current overwhelming bookings for Mahindra XUV500 and New Xylo it has time again proved the same. Although, we need to keep our fingers crossed till Duster is launched.

Thanks Pawan for posting this news of Renault duster launch in June.I have been googling for duster since 2 yrs.Cant wait for any further to own this beauty.Hope Renault India, will price it competitively, and surely the days of boleros, scorpios will be numbered.M&M have fooled the gullible public enough by launching the same product again and again with cosmetic changes.Renault,pl.hurry up.
