Renault Duster launches in India at Rs 7.19 lakh
Here comes the Renault Duster at a ceremony full of glitterati and with it India has got a compact SUV that will change the definitions. The gathering and the craze among paparazzi at the Duster launch held in New Delhi has yet again proved that India fights back the slowdown in the car industry in India. The French car maker has kept the Duster price to start at Rs 7.19 lakh for the petrol RxE model while the top end variant which is Duster RxZ price in India is Rs 10.99 lakh.

A close look at the price comparison between the Duster and other SUVs tell a different story and it will set in motion a price war among SUVs in India. The Duster price is expected to be the one of the factors that will be pushing it forward despite of being from a relatively new brand. Looking at the line up, it seems that more emphasis has been laid on the diesel models of Duster as the petrol model lacks the option of featuring ABS, EBD and has comparatively lesser features than its diesel counterparts. The Duster RxZ Diesel is the fully loaded model that has the best features available including alloy wheels, Chrome Radiator finish, Beige interior embossed seats, leather wrapped steering wheel, chrome and leather finish on gear knob apart from an array of other features that are absent in the lower trims.
