Renault Duster LPG now available in France
Renault Duster LPG is now available in France. This dual fuel variant of Duster SUV is expected to receive high appreciation from the consumers. Being powered by dual-fuel option, the price of the car is certainly a bit higher than the regular petrol model, but it turns out to be totally worth it. Under the hood, you will find a 1.6-Litre four-cylinder engine, which is capable of churning out 104BHP. Being coupled with the standard five-speed manual transmission, the car manages to deliver some impressive mileage figures that make the car worth every penny you spent on it. The LPG tank in this variant has been positioned under the boot, which previously featured the spare wheel compartment. Consuming the space for spare wheel, Renault is offering a tyre inflation kit with the LPG variant of Duster in order to deal with flat tyre situation on the go.
There are no two opinions on the fact that Renault Duster or Dacia Duster is doing pretty well all across the globe. This was proved when we saw a superb success of Duster SUV in the Indian car market. The diesel variant of the car was being sold like hot cakes. If we take into account the pure statistics, in Jan 2013, the firm sold about 87 units of Duster Petrol, while a whopping 3467 units of Duster Diesel were sold in the same time period. Seeing the vast difference in number, might give Renault an opportunity to launch the LPG Version of Duster in India as well.
The LPG cars are quite common in India and if Duster is launched in the same, this might work as a positive pout for the firm and help it to fetch more sales and revenue. No harm to visualizing the prospective, right?
