Renault Duster receives recognition from J.D. Power Asia Pacific
The highly acclaimed SUV Renault Duster from French car maker Renault has added one more star in crown of its success by receiving the recognition of outstanding SUV by J.D. Power Asia Pacific 2013 India Initial Quality Study (IQS). Renault Duster succeeded in receiving this honor by defeating 15 more SUV’s listed in the list. The major attributes of performance which were considered for this recognition included engine quality and its performance, transmission, exteriors, interiors and driving experience.
At present Duster is placed at second rank among different SUV’s available in country. This test of recognition was conducted on SUVs that were manufactured between November 2012 and July 2013. It would be interested to know that Duster has received an overwhelming response from Indian audiences even after the launch of other SUVs like Ford Ecosport and Nissan Terrano. Since its entrance in Indian car market it has succeeded in grabbing 29 awards in different category under its beneath, including The Car of the Year and award of high customer satisfaction under its niche.
In the words of Mr. Marc Nassif, Managing Director, Renault India said, delivering the qualitative product to customer was the first principle of team working on development of Duster, followed by network of supplies. He further added that this recognition is result of joined team efforts. He also said that the pleasure of this honor increases more as it has been awarded by J.D. Power IQS which is determined on the basis of feedback received from customers on the basis of their driving experience.
