Renault Duster SUV launched in Jaipur

The French SUV Renault Duster after an exceptional series of launches in New Delhi and Mumbai along with other major parts of India is finally launched in the Pink City – Jaipur in the desert state Rajasthan. SUVs have a special presence in the state; here Mahindra Scorpio and Tata Safari carry greater significance compared to other vehicles in the market. In order to keep it well within the reach of SUV buyers, Renault has kept the price of SUV Duster at Rs 7.33 lakh for the entry level petrol RXE model and Rs 8.15 lakh for the entry level 85PS RXE diesel variant. Furthermore the top end petrol and diesel versions are tagged at Rs 8.36 lakh and Rs 11.22 lakh (110PS) respectively. Besides SUVs the daring Duster is expected to compete with Maruti Ertiga MPV and some prominent sedans.

Also, it may not want to de-void Rajasthan of the SUV contrary to Mahindra XUV 500 that was launched in Jaipur much later than its India launch. Meanwhile, enquiries to the Renault showroom in Jaipur started flooding in since July 4 and people were desperately waiting for this SUV. Since pre-booking were on, some have already booked the SUV and will be getting it today as soon as the launch ceremony gets over. Available in overall 8 variants (2 Petrol and 6 Diesel), the Renault Duster has many options to choose from as per affordability and need of the SUV buyers.
