Renault Duster to hit South African market soon

It is certain that the buzz that Renault Duster created in India will carry on to its new markets. Primarily Duster is liked for its immensely affordable price and next is the features. Recent buzz is that Renault India has decided to export its latest car Renault Duster to South Africa and surprisingly the price at which the car will be sold in South Africa is much lesser as that in India. The SUV has got a positive response from the Indian customers. In India Duster price starts at Rs 7.19 lakh while the Duster diesel starts at Rs 7.99 lakh.

Built on Logan platform, the Duster has is 4.31 meters long. In order to take on the challenges of an off roader, the suspension system has been made stiff yet responsive to bumps and the under the body structure has been strengthened. Duster is available in both petrol and diesel version. Duster is sold under Dacia label outside India, Dacia is a Roman carmaker company, and is completely owned subsidiary of Renault. The car is designed with safety features like engine immobilizer, door open warning lamp, anti-lock Brake System etc. These features help it to be a close rival of the already existing giants such as Mahindra Scorpio and Tata Safari.

There are many colors that are available. The interiors of Renault Duster are much inspired by Renault Logan. The car belongs to SUV segment and but has a seating capacity of only 5 passengers. As per the reports, Renault will be launching a seven seater Duster as well. The seats are quite comfortable and one gets enough of head and shoulder space as well. The car also has ample space for luggage and that makes it quite adequate to be taken for long drives.

The design of the car is also good and robust. The signature style of Renault, inscribing the name using large fonts is also there. There is a D U S T E R inscribed on the rear number plate. The car is liked by Indian customers and has got a great opening with lot of bookings. Renault being a French company producing cars in India is relatively new but it has very soon established as one of the most aggressive brand. An alliance with Nissan makes it the fourth largest automotive group. Renault established itself in India as Renault India Private Limited. Originally, it started as Mahindra Renault and alliance between Mahindra and Renault ceased in 2011.
