Renault Fluence E2 Diesel now comes with added ‘Advantage edition’ at slashed price
The auto-maker, Renault India has come up with a new strategy to boost up the sales of the Fluence sedan. Struggling with low sales in domestic auto-market, the company introduced earlier the diesel E4 variant of this car that carries fabulous features and its petrol variant has already been running on the shores with all luxury amenities and available 6 speed CVT automatic transmission. Though, the diesel engine Fluence was tagged at a lower price than its petrol variants, but could not impact much on the sales of the car. This time, the auto-giant, Renault has dropped the price of its Fluence Diesel E2 variant by more than one and a half lakh.

Named as the Advantage Edition, the Fluence Diesel E2 variant is now available at the price of Rs. 11.99 lakh (Ex-showroom Delhi) that is now Rs. 1.64 lakh cheaper. With deducted price, you can certainly expect the Fluence Advantage Variant to get a good response from the enthusiasts. As the charm of diesel cars is increasing in India, Renault has recently upgraded its 1.5 Liter K9K diesel engine with better drivability supported by an optimized turbocharger and a new air intake system. With reduced price, this saloon seems to be a better option in D-segment.

But, this offer would be available till the stock last and one can predict that the “Advantage Edition” from Fluence would be its strategy to clear the stocks. Just after the launch of E4 diesel variant, the company has introduced this new edition. However, this low priced diesel variant would not have addition features that are available in the E4 variant. But to say, this car will have Start-stop button, ABS, Dual Airbags, ESP and Alloy Wheels. Besides this, the engine of E2 Advantage Edition would be mated by a 6 speed manual transmission.
