Renault India Inaugurates New International Parts Center Warehouse in Pune
Renault India is enjoying the spell of its compact SUV Renault Duster and the success story is going to continue till its rival car Ford Ecosport will arrive. Meanwhile, Renault is busy in making India its home. Recently, the car maker has inaugurated a New International Parts Center Warehouse in Pune. This warehouse is of strategic importance to the car maker has it is from here that it will be supplying parts to its alliances in other parts of the globe. Thus it has made India the production hub of car parts that will be sourced from Indian parts suppliers and these will then be exported to Renault’s production alliances across countries.
In the meantime, the slowdown in the industry has impacted car sales of every car maker and that is why almost all the car makers have come up with great deals to lure customers. But the Duster needs no offer to improve sales as it is the hottest selling car presently after Maruti Swift, Swift Dzire and Ertiga in India. The only car that can give great resistance to this car is the upcoming Ford Ecosport that has just been launched in China and its soft launch has already happened in India on March 12 in New Delhi and Mumbai. But the commercial launch of Ecosport seems to have been postponed from this month to June this year as Ford wants to promote the SUV well before its launch.
It is said that the Ecosport will be able to repeat the success of Ford Figo or Ford Fiesta and it could be possible that this SUV will be sold in never before numbers. But there is a little loophole. May be the present slump in the car industry will continue to next two months and may be the car could succumb to the present low demand.
