Commenting on this, Sudhir Malhotra, Vice President of Sales & Marketing at Renault India, said, "We are truly honoured to support the Eastern Command of the Indian Army by providing these vehicles. The Triber and Kiger reflect Renault's commitment to quality, safety, and the Make in India initiative. We are confident that these vehicles will improve the mobility and logistical capabilities of the Eastern Command."

Malhotra added, "Renault India is dedicated to serving the community and supporting those who protect our nation. The Kiger, a sub-compact SUV, serves as the brand’s flagship model in the entry-level segment, while the Triber targets the three-row MPV market. The Kwid, which debuted in September 2015, has been a popular choice among entry-level car buyers, although it has consistently ranked second in sales, trailing behind the Maruti Suzuki Alto and its Alto K10 variant.
