Renault Pulse and Scala recalled for faulty brake master cylinder
Renault India has also recalled the 2836 units of the Renault Pulse hatchback and 4180 units of the Scala sedan due to faulty in brake master cylinder. The company will replace the brake master cylinder of cars which have been produced at Chennai plant between 1st June, 2012 and 15th March 2013. The faulty in cars will be replaced free of cost by the company. The brake master cylinder problem is found only in these two cars.

Renault's official partner, Nissan has already recalled 22, 188 units of the Sunny and Micra to replace the brake master cylinder. Nissan India is also replacing the brake master cylinder free of cost. Meanwhile, another Japanese carmaker Toyota has also recalled the 1000 units of Toyota Corolla Altis built between the 3rd August 2012 and 14th February 2013 to replace the driveshaft. It also is replacing the driveshaft free of cost.

Renault Pulse is the first hatchback in Indian auto market by French auto giant Renault. It is available in both petrol and diesel models. Its gasoline fuel run model has a 1.2L petrol motor under the hood while the diesel model is powered by a 1.5L diesel engine. Both these models offer 7 variants from features wise. On other hand, Scala sedan petrol model comes loaded with a 1.5 petrol and 1.5L diesel engines. It offers four variants in gasoline model and two variants in diesel model.
