Renault to launch automatic version of Duster 4x4 in Russian car market in 2014
Enjoying the taste of huge success after the launch of Duster, French auto giant Renault is speculating to integrate automatic transmission system in all variants of Duster coming up in 2014. According to reports the Russian arm of company has also confirmed that the upcoming models of Duster in Russian car market will be introduced with automatic transmission gearbox.
As far as the details about the integration of automatic transmission system is concerned it has not been yet disclosed by company that whether it will be integrated in 1.6 litre 4x4 diesel engine or 1.5 litre diesel 4x4 engine in variants.
Talking about the Russian car market, Duster is being sold with option of two wheel drive and four wheel drive, followed 2WD option which is available in variant which is blessed with four speed automatic transmission gearbox. It would be interested to know that in Russia Renault is selling Duster with three engine options i.e., 1.6 litre petrol, 2.0 litre petrol and 1.5 litre diesel engine. Apart from this 2WD option is blessed with four speed automatic gearbox, whereas other variants are equipped with 6 speed automatic transmission gearbox.
