Renault to launch Duster in Jaipur tomorrow

After launching Renault Duster in Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad it is now turn of the capital city of Rajasthan, Jaipur to get Duster SUV.

Renault India will be launching the compact SUV Renault Duster in the pink city tomorrow at Hotel ITC Rajputana, Sherton. The launch event will begin at 12:00 onwards, Mr. Len Curran, VP, Sales and marketing-Renault India will be gracing the event with his presence. Apart from him, other senior member members from Renault India management team will also be present at the Jaipur launch.

Launched at an eye-popping price of Rs 7.19 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) for the base petrol version, Duster is going to trigger a price war in the SUV segment. Customers can pick from eight trim levels rendered by the French car maker, which include two petrol variants and six diesel variants available in two engine options. Diesel powered Duster price begins at Rs 7.99 lakh and goes up to Rs 11.29 lakh. Apart from the price which is the most tempting thing about the SUV, other factors that make this SUV a worth buy are as follows.

The presence of 8 way adjustable driver seat makes it comfortable for the driver to stay poised on long drives. The tilt steering permits the driver to sit in the most comfortable posture. Rear AC vents with blower control placed at the rear seat keep the temperature in balance for the passengers sitting at the back. Short turning radius of 5.2 meters enables the SUV to manoeuvre easily in the small lanes, a perfect feature considering the Indian roads and traffic conditions. High torque figures generated at low RPM makes it easy to drive the SUV in the city. With the presence of all these features, Duster is all prepared to fight out the war of SUVs in India, Scorpio, Safari beware.
