Renault To Upgrade Triber With 1.0 Liter Turbocharged Engine

Affordable price tag, abundance of contemporary features, rugged looks, etc, are some features that have made the Renault Triber the first choice of buyers who prefer to buy a vehicle that is trendy and yet within their budget. The new engine will be 1.0 liter, turbocharged, four cylinder engine developed in collaboration with the Japanese car manufacturing company Nissan. The new engine will be BS-VI compliant and will be embellished with a bunch of technical features like variable valve timing for both the intake and exhaust valves and an exhaust manifold mounted in the head.

It is also rumored that this engine will generate the power of 95 bhp followed by abundance of torque. As far as integration of the transmission system is concerned, nothing has been so far revealed by the manufacturer. However, as far as the Indian car market, the buyers mainly prefer to buy AMT vehicles due to their cost effectiveness. Whereas, the petrol engines developed by the alliance of French and Japanese car makers are embedded with CVT transmission system, which is costly than compared to manual gear transmission system. Anyhow, the possibility of introducing the AMT system cannot be neglected.

It is believed that the integration of turbocharged petrol engine will further boost the sales and of-course the interest of buyers towards it. Because, the petrol engine integrated in Duster and Capture is naturally aspirated engine that generates the power of 105 bhp. With high torque generating efficiency, the new 1.0 liter turbocharged engine is also speculated to be integrated in both these compact SUVs also.
