Renault Twingo Mauboussin launched in Europe
French automaker, Renault has launched the little jewel car ‘Renault Twingo Mauboussin’ in the European market. This car is the joint venture of Renault and Mauboussin (French jewellery firm) that has been especially designed for the female customers, showcased at the Frankfurt Motor Show.
The Parisian creative designer and jewellers from Renault have created this vehicle that has got Tourmaline brown body paint, chocolate colored interior fabric & leather upholstery, Mouboussin logos on its bonnet, door panels, mats, headrest and some other parts. Company is offering a silver Mauboussin pendant watch named “1960, jet’aime” to its all Twingo Mauboussin customers.
Only limited editions are introduced by the Renault that named as the ‘donor car’. The France, Italy, Austria and Morocco market are available with its both petrol (1.2 litre) and diesel engine (dCi 75 hp/ 85hp) variants. The new Renault Twingo Mauboussin will meet the global carbon dioxide emissions standards: 102g/km with the 1.2 16V 75hp petrol engine and 85g of CO2/km for the dCi 75 and dCi 85 diesel-powered versions.
The Renault Twingo Mauboussin is an eco-friendly and fuel efficient car that has compact design. As per the rumours, Twingo Mauboussin won’t come in India and Renault will choose the Tanishq jewellery brand to create this little jewel car for the Indian women.
