Renault unveils Urban Crossover Captur at the Geneva Motor Show
Geneva Motor Show did showcase some mesmerizing brand new vehicles so far and Urban Crossover Renault Captur was one among them. Renault had make the announcement of launching the Captur before two months but the company knew that the Geneva Motor Show would be an ideal platform to showcase the most recent ‘urban crossover’. According to the reports, the Renault Captur will be assembled at Valladolid plant of the company in Spain. Prominent features of the car includes the convenient driving position and styling of an SUV, remarkable room interior of an MPV and the spacious cabin, notable dexterity and extraordinary feel of driving of a compact saloon car. It could be possible that this SUV could make its way to India as well.
The physical specifications of the car include 4m and 12 inches length. This vehicle is based on the concept of the Renault Clio. The crossover exhibits easygoing yet graceful lines. The interior of this vehicle bears a typical Renault feel by featuring completely a black finishing. Lamp enclosure’s chrome embellished also features daytime LED running lights. Renault has tried to put its best foot forward for developing a luxurious feel as there are quite a few plush features that have been incorporated inside the vehicle. Those features include in-dash Renault R-Link touch screen multimedia tab, a dynamic system comprising of six loudspeakers, Bluetooth connectivity, and an Arkamys hi-fi sound and audio-streaming.
However, there is lot more that is being offered by Crossover Renault Captur. There is an RDC dual clutch gearbox that is being installed to the TCe 120 (1.2 L petrol), in order to offer greater performance by taking care of the frugality. Then, there is a smaller TCe 90 (0.9 L Petrol) motor that is on the list. Last but certainly not least, the dci 90 motor (diesel version) promises to offer superior performance along with laying a strong emphasis on reducing the emission of CO2.
