Renault- Nissan will have no stiff over price
The Renault India has announced that company won’t have any stiff on price front with its global partner Nissan Motors. On the launching ceremony of the Renault Pulse (compact hatchback), the Managing Director of Renault India, Marc Nassif has said that by considering the economic statics of the scale effect company is sharing its Chennai plant with Nissan.
With the purpose to get an entry in Indian hatchback segment, company has launched the Renault Pulse, inspired by the Nissan’s Micra platform. It is the third gizmo from the company after the Renault Fluence (premium sedan) and Renault Koleos (compact luxury sports utility vehicle).

The petrol variant of Renault Pulse will be soon available for the buyers. Company official made it clear that Renault have no plans to battle with the Nissan on the price front. The Renault is keen to make a way in sub Rs.4 lakh segment, already set the foot in Rs.4 lakh segment and above, he added further.

Company is aiming high to achieve the sales figure of one lakh in 2013 and all prepared to buzz the marketplace with the launch of five new models by the end of 2012.
