British luxurious car maker Rolls-Royce finally made its entrance in the SUV niche during the month of May this year by unveiling Cullinan, SUV in the International market. Now, after seven months of its unveil the British car maker has launched the SUV in the Indian car market with the mind-blowing price tag of Rs. 6.95 crore (ex-showroom price). Talking about the looks of Rolly-Royce Cullinan, at first instance, it looks like the upgraded version of Phantom VIII launched last year. At the front fascia, the Cullinan embellishes Rolls-Royce signature pattern, thus continuing the trend of the car maker.

 

 

Like its elder sibling Phantom VIII, the Cullinan is also developed on the totally new aluminium platform. Mechanically it is energized with 6.74 litre, twin-turbocharged V12 petrol engine that is capable of boosting the power of 563 bhp and the torque of 850Nm. With the top notch of 250 kmph, the Cullinan is endorsed as the best illustration of Architecture of Luxury. Moving ahead the all-wheel drive system combined with self-levelling air suspension system is introduced to offer ‘Magic Carpet’ driving quality to the driver. By switching on the ‘Off Road’ button installed at the central console the drivers will be able to drive the Cullinan smoothly on all the terrains without any discomfort.

 

 

Discussing the features offered in the Rolls-Royce Cullinan, on the interior front it is equipped with fascinating cabin decorated with high-class leather upholstery, power seats with massage facility, bespoke fabrics and carpets, connectivity and navigation. On the safety front, it is offered with pedestrian and wildlife alert, night vision function, active cruise control, head-up display, four cameras with panoramic view and alertness assistant.

Moving across the exterior features, the side profile continues its conventional 22-inch wheels, with D-pillar and rear portion carrying the looks from D-Back Rolls-Royce launched back in 1930. It would not be wrong to say that Cullinan carries the Rolls-Royce legacy to the new heights.
