Sales of HCIL grown to 151% during the month of November 2013

Honda Cars India Limited, the domestic arm of Japanese car making Honda Motors recorded sales of 9,332 units of Honda vehicles sold in domestic car market during the month of November 2013 corresponding the sales of 3, 711 units sold during the same period last year. Thus recording the growth of 151%.  The overall sales of company recorded growth 70% during the months from April 2013 to November 2013 by selling out 80, 163 units as compared to 47,236 units sold during the last year. With this company also recorded exports of 806 units during the month of November.
 
Discussing the encouraging performance of company Mr. Jnaneswar Sen, Sr. Vice President, Markeing & Sales, Honda Cars India Ltd, said that due to heavy demand of recently launched Honda Amaze company has succeeded in increasing its sales every month after its launch this April. He also added that company recorded an overwhelming growth of 151% during the month of November. Moving ahead Mr. Sen said that apart from this achievement month of November was of great importance for company as it unveiled its generation next Honda City in Indian car market. Mr. Sen hopes that with launch of new Honda City in 2014 company will set a new benchmark in segment of premium cars which will help it to establish its dominance in Indian car market.
 
The product wise sales of company during the month of November comprises of 1712 units of Honda Brio, 7598 units of Amaze, 22 units of Honda CR-V followed by exports of 806 units.
