Sample of Tata Kite spied for the first time on Indian roads
As reported earlier that with an objective to compete against recent launch of Maruti Celerio from country’s leading car manufacturing company MSIL, domestic car maker Tata Motors is speculating to launch a new hatchback in Indian car market codenamed as Kite. According to reports received from authentic sources spies have succeeded in witnessing and clicking the pictures of Kite’s prototype for first time being tested on Indian roads. The reports received from spies reveal that the spied vehicle looked like the upcoming hatchback Bolt from the car maker.
The proposed hatchback has been developed on company’s XO platform used in Tata Indica due to which the front fascia of hatchback resembles from Bolt. Spies also reported to witness the F-Tronic AMT version of company’s most affordable hatchback Nano, expected to be launch sometimes during the festive season. As far as the looks of Kite are concerned the spies could not succeeded in getting much clues as the hatchback was strictly camouflaged and not giving any chance to view any of its features offered on the exteriors.
The Kite will be launched to fill the bridge between Nano and Indica and is expected to make its debut in Indian car market in the early months of next year. The hatchback is expected to be launched in both petrol and diesel variants. It is also anticipated that the both engines will be blessed with turbo charged engines. It is also speculated that company might offer F-Tronic automated manual transmission system in Kite.
