Skoda Kodiaq images appear online, launch in India during 2017
With SUV Kodiaq Czech car maker Skoda will debut in the segment which till now has not witnessed any initiative by the company. Recently some of its images were rendered online by the company giving a glimpse of its exteriors. From images at first instance Kodiaq gives an impression of Audi Q7 and Range Rover Evoque. In global market SUV will be launched sometimes during the later months of this year, while in Indian car market it is expected to debut during the first month of January 2017.

Developed on MQB platform out sourced from Volkswagen which also already exists in Superb and Octavia, the India bound version of Kodiaq will be offered in both petrol and diesel disguises. Both the variants will be empowered with 2.0 litre engines respectively and mated with six speed manual and also with DSG automatic gearbox.
On the exterior front Skoda Kodiaq adorns muscular body along with aggressive front grille. It also adorn features like sweptback headlamps, roof rails, new set of alloy wheels, LED tail lights continuing conventional “C” design followed by the car maker. The side profile carries most of its looks similar to Range Rover Evoque. After launch it will be placed above Yeti and will compete against Santa Fe from Hyundai, Nissan X-Trail and upcoming Tiguan from Volkswagen.
