Super car GT-R on cards of Nissan Motors for Indian car market

 
It is rumored that Nissan India, the Indian alliance of Japanese car maker Nissan Motors is speculating to launch its supercar GT-R soon in Indian car market. Earlier the company had no plans of launching this iconic car in India, but recently at the launch of facelift Sunny, Mrm Andy Palmer, Chief Planning Officer, Nissan Motors said, that it is a natural process that company will launch the supercar in Indian car market. Moving ahead he added that although it will have few customers possibly the cricketers. 
 
According to sources that company feels that it is an ideal time for company to launch this dynamic car in Indian car market to strengthen company’s position in market. Mr. Palmer also added that launching such car in Indian car market will be an indication of company’s efficiency. The Nissan GT-R is empowered with 3.8 litre twin-turbocharged V6 engine churning the power of 541 bhp and torque of 628Nm. Its engine is coated with dual clutch six speed semi automatic gearbox forwarding the power to both front and rear wheels. It is said to accelerate the speed from standstill to 100 kmph within the period of 2.7 seconds and achieve the top speed of 300 kmph.
