Suzuki Motors to launch Sportier Swift in Indonesian car market
Japanese car maker Suzuki is going to introduce sportier variant of its highly acclaimed hatchback Swift in Indonesia, codenamed as New Swift Sport. It is the same Suzuki product which was unveiled during 21st Indonesian International Motor Show. Apart from having gracious look and architecture the New Swift Sport is blessed with various remarkable features which will undoubtedly enhance its functionality and driving experience of customers.
The New Swift Sport is equipped with newly designed M16A, 4 cylinder DOHC VVT engine producing the power of 134.2 bhp and torque of 160 Nm. The engine is coated with continuously variable transmission system followed by low and high range auxiliary gearbox which offers additional gear ratio for improving acceleration and enhancing fuel efficiency. The shift paddles facilitates the driver to move gear without moving to steering wheel. It will also be equipped with six speed manual transmission system.
Moving towards the other noticeable features the front fascia is equipped with new grille which integrates distinguished fog lamp bezels. With this it also sports headlamps of high intensity garnished with grey coating followed by compatible rear lamps in cylindrical shape. With this the New Swift Sportier is also blessed with safety measures like six airbags, ESP and various other necessary safety measures. It is rumored that it may also introduce the same version in Indian car market also, may be during upcoming Indian Auto Expo.
