Suzuki showcases petrol S-Cross (AT) at GIIAS 2016
Japanese car maker Suzuki has showcased the automatic trim of S-Cross during the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show 2016. The same version of S-Cross petrol is also expected to be launched in Indian Car market. The unit of S-Cross petrol (AT) showcased during the show is empowered with conventional M15A 1.5 litre four cylinder petrol engine that generates the power of 107.24 hp @ 6,000 rpm and torque of 138Nm @4,400 rpm and will be offered option of five speed manual and six speed automatic gear transmission.
The European and Indonesian version of S-Cross petrol being sold in European and Indonesian car market are empowered with K10C 1.0 litre BOOSTERJET three cylinder engine and K14C BOOSTERJET four cylinder engine configuration respectively.
In Indian car market the Indian alliance of Japanese car maker is also going to launch the petrol variant of S-Cross which is expected to be empowered with M15A version of engine configuration introduced in Indonesian car market. At present the cross over in India is being offered in diesel variant with two engine options of 1.3 litre DDiS200 and 1.6 litre DDiS320 diesel engine with both engines mated with five speed and six speed manual transmission system accordingly.
