Suzuki Swift Sergio Cellano special editions steal the show at Geneva
Maruti Swift is not only the most sought after car in India but it is the best small car in whichever market it is launched. The car maker too is passionate about it and this is the reason why it never misses an opportunity to showcase a special edition of this car. The latest is the Suzuki Swift Sergio Cellano special editions showcased at Geneva Motor Show. In India though the car maker is a little lethargic in launching the special edition of this car. Also, the Swift Sport that is rocking in Australia and other countries is still awaited even when Fiat has launched Fiat Punto Sport and recently Tata has launched the Tata Vista D90.
The hatchback that has a BMW Mini type styling is often confused with it as well. Also, people consider it to have almost the same features and specifications as the Mini has but the price is incredibly low which makes it more lucrative in the segment. In India specially people have happily waited for over six months delivery time at a time and such is the craze for this car that it has very good resale value as well. Currently enjoying the status of one of the best selling Maruti cars in India, the Swift along with Maruti Swift Dzire has helped the car maker pose some positive growth in the sales recently.
The Sergio Cellano edition of Swift has a 94 PS1.2 L K Series petrol engine under the hood apart from various new features which are unavailable in the regular variants. This special edition car sports 16 inch alloys, start stop system, ABS, air bags and an audio system that has USB connectivity. The designer special edition package makes it more worth than the normal variants and this will also help the car maker attain greater numbers on the sales chart.
