Swift Navi Style launched, available till Aug 31

Japanese auto maker Suzuki has decided to add fame to the already famous Maruti Swift. As per the reports, the car maker had launched the Swift Navi Style on July 1 in Italy and has been selling the new limited edition model at the same price as the Swift Style variant available there. The car maker will be selling the model with lots of new features till August 31. The Swift Navi Style come with a wide 4.3 inch touch screen display for navigation and there are a lot many other safety features. The Swift Navi Style price in Italy is 10,990 Euros that goes to about Rs 7.5 lakh in the Indian currency.

The Indian Swift on the other hand is reeling under crisis following the lockdown at the Manesar plant and the outage is expected to bring down the overall sales figures of the Maruti hatchback. Meanwhile, other cars in the segment which include most importantly Hyundai i20, Ford Figo, Tata Indica eV2 and Tata Indica Vista have witnessed a rise in their demand following the non availability of the Swift. It is expected that if Maruti is not able to start production in the coming week, it will impact the supply during the upcoming festive season when there is maximum car buying in India.

The Italian Swift on the other hand is being offered at the same price as the regular model but with a Navigation system that make driving all the more easier. The 4.3 inch touch screen based navigation display puts up information regarding 23 European countries. Using the navigation system, the driver can know the best route to the destination along with on the journey safety features such as lane guidance system. This system helps the Swift car to be on the lane and an even a little drift from the lane triggers a warning on the screen. Also, it has proximity sensors that help warn the driver in case there are speed cameras on the road.
