Tata Aria launched in South Africa
The domestic auto giant Tata Motors has launched Tata Aria in South African auto market on October 17, 2013, followed by unveiling Tata Prima KL3TXF Truck Tractor and Tata Ultra 812 Truck at Johannesburg International Motor Show 2013. Besides these two vehicles other Tata vehicles displayed during motor show were Tata Xenon XT, Vista D90, Manza Club Class and Tata Safari Strome. The version of Tata Aria unveiled in South Africa has been given completely new interiors and has been blessed with some remarkable and awesome features like plush leather seats, side impact beams, sir airbags, special crumple zones, electronic stability control, traction control system, disc brakes for both front and rear wheels, followed by antilock braking system and ultrasonic distance parking sensors.
Addressing the unveil of Aria, Tata Motors Managing Director, Mr. Karl Slym, Tata Motors find huge potential of its growth in South African car market and is confident to manufacture products according to requirement of customers in South African market. According to Mr. Slym company will launch Tata Aria, Tata Prima KL3TXF 6X4 Truck Tractor and Tata Ultra 812 Truck in South African market during 2014, which will strengthen company’s roots in South Africa.
On the other side Mr. Noel Tata, Managing Director, Tata International Limited also expressed same views as expressed by Mr. Slym regarding potential of growth in African market. With Mr. Noel Tata also added that Tata’s relation with South Africa dates back to 1997 when company exported its vehicles to Zambia and today company sales its vehicles in 11 countries of African continent.
