Tata Aria limited edition to get Harman audio and infotainment application
India’s home grown auto maker, Tata Motors, has tied up with HARMAN, a renowned audio and infotainment solutions firm across the globe. Tata Motors seek a key relationship with Harman that it hopes will last for a long period of time. As per the pact between the two companies, Harman will bestow the wide range of Tata cars in India with the outstanding and high tech bespoke audio, navigation and multimedia solutions. Tata will soon roll out a limited edition of its crossover, Tata Aria in the domestic market, which will come equipped with the world-class audio systems from Harman. The JBL sound system from Harman will now be a part of Tata Aria’s interiors. The stupendous 360-watt audio system comes with 10 speakers and a devoted subwoofer which was earlier put on display at the Auto Expo 2012.

Harman sources advanced infotainment, connectivity and audio to the world renowned automakers like Audi, Fiat, Chrysler, Ferrari, BMW, General Motors, Hyundai, Kia, Lexus, Land Rover, Mercedes Benz, Porsche, Toyota and Volkswagen. Speaking on the occasion, Dinesh Paliwal, Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer at HARMAN said that the company is extremely elated with the tie up with Tata Motors. He further mentioned that this alliance is the first step towards the growth of premium audio and infotainment system in the domestic market. Harman’s development team and Tata Motor’s engineering team will work together to develop world-class products which will be appreciated by the customers. Both the companies wish to set an epitome in the OEM installed sound and infotainment in the Indian car market.

The future Tata cars are expected to come fitted with the outstanding and stupendous applications of infotainment by Harman. These cars will not just be sold in India but will also be a part of the overseas market. Harman’s avant-grade technology that is used in a lot of other luxury cars will help Tata cars to have an edge over the other cars.
