Tata Extends Harrier Line-Up With XZS Trim
Without any loud promotions, the domestic carmaker Tata Motors has introduced a new XZS variant in its Harrier line-up. The new variant will bridge the gap between XZ and XZ+ variants. The company has upgraded the newly introduced trims with features like a panoramic sunroof, 17-inch dual-tone alloy wheels, auto-dimming IRVM, and a six-way power-adjustable driver seat with lumbar support. It also receives an option of a dual-tone colour treatment followed by its Dark Edition.

The new Tata Harrier XZS variant is offered with multiple options including the XZS MT, XZS Dual-Tone MT, XZS Dark Edition MT, XZS AT, XZS Dual-Tone AT, and XZS Dark Edition AT. All these options are priced at Rs 20 lakh, Rs 20.20 lakh, Rs 20.30 lakh, Rs 21.30 lakh, Rs 21.50 lakh, and Rs 21.60 lakh respectively. All these are ex-showroom prices in New Delhi.
Mechanically, it receives the power from the same 2.0-litre Kryotec diesel engine, producing the power of 168 bhp and a torque of 350Nm. The transmission duties are performed by a six-speed manual gear transmission system, followed by an option of a six-speed torque converter automatic gearbox.
Speaking about the price comparison between the newly introduced XZS variant and the XZ variant, the new variant is about Rs 1.30 lakh expensive, and Rs 35,000 less expensive than the top-end XZ+ variant.
