Tata Hexa Spotted in the Yards of a Dealer in Gujarat

Slated for launch sometimes during the month of January 2017, Tata Hexa, the upcoming SUV from domestic car maker has started reaching its dealership quite early before its launch. According to recent reports few units of Hexa SUV were seen parked in the car port of a dealer in Gujarat.. The reports also reveal that this blue colored unit of SUV is a part of demo units that will be displayed by company across its dealers throughout the country. The bookings of Hexa have been already commenced by the car marker at the down payment of Rs. 25,000 and according to sources of company it has so far received around 250 bookings in just two days after the beginning of bookings.
Under the hood, Hexa will derive power from 2.2 litre Varicor 320 engine generating the power of 148bhp and torque of 320Nm, this power generation figure is mainly for the entry level unit of Hexa, the other top variants boosted with same engine configuration will boost the power of 154 bhp and torque of 400Nm. The transmission duties will be carried by five speed manual gearbox in base variant followed by six speed manual and automatic gear transmission system in other trims. It will be offered with option of four driving modes comprising of Auto, Comfort, Dynamic and Rough Road.
It is speculated to be priced between Rs. 12 lakh and Rs. 16 lakh and will compete against Toyota Innova Crysta and Mahindra XUV 500. Developed on company’s Impact Design Philosophy the Hexa will host bunch of safety features in form of airbags, hill control system, anti-lock braking system and electronic brake distribution system. Along with all these features it will also embellish Harman Kardon infotainment system offered in all trims.
