Tata Introduces One More Variant XMA AMT In Nexon Line-up
Going through the high price of AMT version in compact SUV Nexon, domestic car maker Tata Motors has introduced one more variant in its line-up which is christened as XMA. The price of Tata Nexon XMA AMT is almost 2 lakh less than the top XZA+ trim in petrol variant and Rs. 1.77 lakh in the diesel trim. The price of new XMA AMT petrol is Rs. 7.50 lakh where the price of Nexon XMA AMT diesel is Rs. 8.53 lakh (both the prices are ex-showroom prices, New Delhi).
Mechanically, the petrol variant of XMA AMT is offered with the existing 1.2 litre turbocharged Revotron petrol engine that is capable of boosting the power of 108 bhp and the torque of 170Nm, while the diesel XMA AMT is offered with 1.5 litre Revotorq diesel engine that generates the power of 108 bhp and the torque of 260Nm. The transmission system includes six speed AMT transmission system followed by option of manual driving. The driving modes offered in XMA are Eco, City and Sport.
As far as the design of Tata Nexon XMA AMT is concerned it is identical to its other siblings, the only difference is the introduction of ivory white roof option that is offered to make it look different from the coupe inspired design. Other features that are offered in new trim are dual airbags, wheel covers with the steel wheels, steering mounted audio controls, follow me home headlamps, ABS+EBD, Harman infotainment system with SUV, AUX and Bluetooth connectivity, power windows and ORVMs, central locking system, power windows and many more.
