Tata Kite: Again in limelight, facts known till now
It is reported that domestic car maker Tata Motor is conducting tests of its upcoming compact sedan Kite on Indian roads. According to reports spies have caught tightly covered Kite sedan going test drives giving clues about the side and rear profile. The images leaked on various websites gives an idea about the rear of this upcoming sedan which is resembles to elder sibling Indica.
The sedan is speculated to be offered in both petrol and diesel variants which would be empowered with 1.2 litre Revotron petrol engine and 1.05 litre 3 cylinder turbo diesel engine. It would be offered with both automatic and manual gear transmission system. It is also rumored that domestic car maker may offer e-clutch system similar to AMT offered from Bosch. The e-clutch system facilitates the driver to move on first gear manually without making any use of clutch system. It is expected to be priced below Zest and debut in Indian car market by the end of this year.
