Tata Kite spied once again under lenses
After successful launch of Tata Zest compact sedan last year in August, domestic car maker Tata Motors is working aggressively on conducting test drives of its another upcoming compact sedan Kite on Indian roads. According to reports spies have witnessed the completely camouflaged prototype of this new product being tested on Tamil Nadu roads. Although the vehicle was highly covered and only feature which spies could witness was display of tail lamp clusters followed by the number plate.
The compact sedan according to reports is expected to be offered with 1.0 litre three pot petrol and diesel engine options, followed by 1.2 litre Revotron turbo petrol engine. Both the variants would be offered with five speed manual gear transmission system and also an AMT system as optional. The images captured by spies reveal that the compact sedan will bestow sloping rear back along with spoiler mounted on the boot. Inside the cabin it is speculated to be equipped with rectangular air vents, white backlit instrument cluster and multi information display system.
