Tata Kite to be equipped with e-clutch system: new feature revealed
After successful launch of Bolt hatchback earlier this year domestic car maker Tata Motors is gearing up to bring one more hatchback soon in Indian car market named as Kite. The hatchback has been spied testing on several occasions and car enthusiasts are keen to know any update associated with Kite because of the rumors which reveal that it would be equipped with AMT transmission system. But now according to recent reports that hatchback will embellish e-clutch system and will not carry the AMT transmission system. The e-clutch system is reported to be somewhat work like AMT system and is fuel effective. The system was developed for first time in 2013 by Bosch.

Tata Kite has been promoted as replacement of Indica by car maker and is speculated to be empowered with new CRDi three cylinder diesel engine of 1.05 litre boosting the power of 64.1 bhp and torque of 14.27 kgm. The petrol trim is reported to bestow 1.2 litre petrol engine. It is expected to be offered with price tag of Rs. 4 lakh onwards and after launch will compete with Hyundai Grand i10 and Maruti Celerio. It would be launched sometimes during the mid of this year.
Talking about the e-clutch system as mentioned above it is similar to AMT system that facilitates the drivers to move on first gear without pressing the clutch. As far as other features are concerned the hatchback will carry diamond cut eight alloy wheel, body colored rear view mirrors, automatic climate control, touchscreen system and few more. The hatchback is carry most of its cues from its elder sibling Bolt.
