Tata launches upgraded versions of Nano, Indica, Indigo, Sumo and Safari Storme
Tata Motors Limited, the largest manufacturer in Indian automotive industry has unveiled the updated versions for their popular five car models- Nano, Indica, Indica eCS, Sumo and Safari Storme. Apart from this, the company has also introduced a new CNG range of cars like Tata Nano CNG, Tata Indica CNG, Tata Indigo CNG including an explorer edition of the Safari Storme SUV. All these variants are reported to be launched in India within a period of 3 months. Here are the full details of unveiled updated versions of Tata cars.

New Tata Nano
It comes equipped with Dual gloveboxes, remote keyless entry, music system with Bluetooth USB and four speaker along with new exterior colours. There are no mechanical upgrades. The next generation version of the vehicle will be made available by July 2013. The new Tata Nano CNG is called E-MAX.
New Tata Indica
The new Tata Indica gets dual tone interiors and new gearbox based on Smart-shift gear technology. It is loaded with a BS-IV diesel engine promise to offer a fuel efficiency of 25 kmpl.
New Tata Indigo eCS
The compact sedan Indigo eCS gets changes at exteriors and interiors. The company has offered updated version for CR4 diesel engine model which offers 25 kmpl of mileage. It has been equipped with new chrome grille, blackened headlamps, chrome strip at the rear for high-end variant etc. Apart from this, it comes with advance suspension system and upgraded F-type gearbox. It has been offered at Rs 4.99 lakh.
New Tata Sumo Gold
The upgraded version of the entry level SUV, Sumo Gold has been offered at a starting price of Rs 5.83 lakh. It comes equipped with twin Air conditioner, new music system with Bluetooth, exterior decals and new CR4 engine. It is claimed to offer a mileage of about 15.3 kmpl as ARAI certificates.
Tata Safari Storme Explorer Edition
The Explorer Edition of the Safari Storme SUV includes range of accessories such as nudge guard, touch-screen Double DIN Infotainment system, explorer decals, door visors, backpack, camping kits, etc. Accessories for the new Edition will be available at select Tata Motors dealerships.
